Humanism is materialism
In a dystopian urban landscape, deviating completely from conventional urban environments, the concepts of privacy and social dynamics are challenged through a deep dive into human addiction to attention.
As individuals in society, we are constantly subjected to various forms of measurement and evaluation, both by ourselves and by others. The expansion of technology has intensified this phenomenon, blurring the lines between our private lives and the constant gaze of the public. The quest for attention has reached unprecedented heights, with every aspect of daily life meticulously planned to cater to an insatiable desire. Privacy becomes a long-forgotten concept as the boundaries between the public and the private dissolve completely. Society orientates itself towards constant observation, seeking validation through a complex network of surveillance and interaction.
The project explores the intricate relationships between social dynamics and the dangers of individualism in a society addicted to attention. If we continue down the path of eroded privacy, will we end up as mere display material?
